Roger Östlin

Roger Östlin – Chairman of the Board and Instructor, SwedTech Diving. Diving is my passion and in my DNA. Raised in a family where the ocean was the workplace, my grandfather, father, and uncles were all commercial divers. Stepping beneath the surface was a natural path for me, and today I bring over 35 years of diving experience to every project and course. As an instructor and Chairman of the Board for SwedTech Diving, I am deeply passionate about passing on the knowledge, safety culture, and dedication that have shaped my life. My background gives me a fundamental understanding of diving craftsmanship and risk management—insights that guide both my teaching and the strategic vision of our diving organization. My own diving spans from open circuit systems to advanced rebreather (JJCCR) diving. My goal as an instructor is to give you the skills, confidence, and mindset needed to become a safe and competent diver. I am based in Sundsvall, Sweden, but I am available to conduct training in other locations by arrangement. Welcome beneath the surface with SwedTech Diving—where tradition meets modern expertise.
