Extend your exploration, reduce your workload and see more of a dive site through DPV training that emphasizes planning, task management, and specialized skills to prevent diving hazards.
Duration
Min 5 hours practical dive training, 5 hours theory and briefings
Prerequisites
Must be at least 18 years old, SwedTech Scuba Diver certification or equivalent, proof of at least 50 dives, excellent health status
Learning Objectives
- Properly assemble and operate a DPV
- Maintain correct body positioning while using the device
- Control direction fluidly using both the DPV and fins
- Handle equipment failures and contingencies safely
- Maintain team coordination during DPV operations
Course Limits & Requirements
- First two dives: max 30m depth
- Subsequent dives: max 60m depth
- Maximum PO2: 1.4 bar
- Maximum END: 30 meters
- No overhead/enclosed environments
- Maximum 3 students per instructor
