Cave Diver
Team-based cave diving
SwedTech Diving's Cave Diver course is created to give you, the student, the ability together with your team, to be able to safely dive cave like environments. The program runs for a minimum of 12 days with at least 15 hours in water, requiring 20 dives in overhead conditions.
Duration
Min 12 days, at least 15 hours water time, 20 dives in overhead conditions, concludes with 2 evaluation dives
Prerequisites
Minimum age 20, excellent health status, completion of Extended Basic Skills course (or equivalent), proof of at least 75 dives at Extended Basic Skills level
Learning Objectives
- Configure technical diving equipment per SwedTech standards
- Plan and perform dives with no decompression limits
- Handle equipment failures and entanglement issues
- Execute complex navigation without visual reference
- Manage stage bottles and gas logistics
- Perform linear navigation, three-way crossings, and line closures
- Calculate and dive using turn-point protocols
- Tow incapacitated divers
- Collect line data
Course Limits & Requirements
- Maximum depth: 30 meters
- Maximum PO2: 1.4 bar
- Maximum END: 30 meters
- Maximum 3 students per instructor
- Minimum 2600 liters gas at dive start
